We were approached by Essential Edinburgh, whom we have worked with on a number of projects before, to help them produce a short and informative video that highlighted the ‘Farm to Fork’ event that was held in St Andrew’s Square in Edinburgh.
We are looking for a short video that includes all the farmer’s stalls, interviews with selected stalls, chefs Mark Greenaway and Neil Forbes, and capture the Royal guests. The video will go out soon after the event so we are looking for a quick turnaround.
What We Did
We always aim to arrive in plenty of time to set up and get any updates from our client. We set up the camera, familiarised ourself with the location and began shooting. We have already worked with Mark Greenaway and Neil Forbes, so it was easy enough to approach them and prepare them for their interviews later on that day. We were unaware that on the day Prince Charles and Camilla were the special guests, so we had to fight through the paparazzi on the day to get the shots we needed. Luckily for us, their presence being there was only to be shown for a fraction of the video. After collecting everything we needed on the day, we packed up and headed back to begin the edit process and to turn the video around as soon as we could.
This is what we produced for the client.
